Coronavirus Parent Information

Beginning Monday, March 23, Shenango students are beginning to work from home on schoolwork.  Many teachers will be assigning online work via ParentSquare or Google Classroom.  The links to those sites will be listed on the Student Resource Page.

Click the links below for information on the following subjects in relation to the effect of Coronavirus at Shenango schools.

Free Internet for low income households (via Comcast)

ParentSquare
This will be your primary source of information regarding the school closure, teacher assignments, and other updates.  Invitations were recently sent to all parents not currently using ParentSquare.  If you require any assistance or did not get an invitation, please email helpdesk@shenango.k12.pa.us.

Chromebook Distribution
The distribution windows for handing out chromebooks is complete.  If you require a device, didn’t have chance to pick yours up, or need assistance, please email helpdesk@shenango.k12.pa.us.  Note that there is very limited staff on site so you will be contacted to work out a time to pick it up.

School lunch Information:
All Shenango students age 18 and under may now obtain breakfast and lunch daily beginning this Wednesday, March 25 (originally only free and reduced lunch students were eligible). Lunches are served Monday through Friday, during the school closure.

The food service staff will be providing “grab and go” meals beginning to all students beginning Wednesday, March 25. In order to receive these meals, please complete the meal request form at http://bit.ly/2J6GfUF. You only need to complete this form once in order to pick up meals for your child(ren). Free and Reduced students may still pick lunches up this Monday and Tuesday.

Meals can be picked up from 11:00am-1:00pm at the High School Cafeteria, by pulling up to the rear of the building near Door 8. You can remain in your vehicle and one of our volunteers will record your student information and hand you a lunch.

Any student receiving a lunch must be present in the vehicle when lunches are picked up.
